This is to inform the general public and interested candidates that the management of the University of Uyo ( UNIUYO ) has announced the commencement of the sales of application form into her Joint University Preliminary Examinations Board programme for the 2019/2020 academic session.

Each candidate admitted into the programme will be exposed to an intensive academic work in three subject combinations relevant to their desired field of study. The subjects are in consonance with the 100 Level courses of the relevant discipline currently offered in FUPRE. Thus, candidates will offer six (6) courses per semester, making a total of twelve courses at the end of the programme.
Each course will be examined at the end of each semester but the results in all the courses taken will be merged at the end of the second semester to obtain a letter grade in each subject (i.e. A, B, C, D, E, & F).
To be eligible for UNIUYO JUPEB programme, candidates must possess minimum of 5 Credits at maximum of two sittings in at least 5 subjects (inclusive of English Language) relevant to the candidates desired course of study in the University. Read: JUPEB admission requirements
NOTE: JAMB Score is not required for admission into this programme. Candidates who took the 2019 JAMB can also apply as there will be no supplementary application for this programme.

After payment return to the online portal and click on Register Link to complete your registration
The same passport photograph used for the online registration will be used during the screening exercise and for registration after the offer of admission.
No complaint of wrong Bio-Data or blank photograph will be entertained after submission.
Candidates who up-load wrong bio-data will automatically be disqualified.
Candidates are required to come for the screening exercise with the following items:
One (1) copy of the University of Uyo 2018 ONLINE registration form dully completed with the passport-size photograph printed in colour. Note: Only colour printout will be accepted.
Two (2) recent passport-size photographs on red background (same photograph as the one used for the on-line registration) with the name and signature of the candidate on the reverse side of the photographs. These should be packaged in quarto- size envelope and labeled with the candidate’s name and the department.
HB pencil, eraser and sharpener.
No GSM handsets, calculators, four-figure tables or any other extraneous materials should be brought into the screening halls.

How to gain admission into UNIUYO Through JUPEB
To qualify for placement into a degree programme of FUPRE, a student must register for Direct Entry with JAMB and score a minimum of 7 points (e.gDDD+1=7, BEE+1=7, etc). Students should note that score requirement to gain entry into the University may vary across courses and Tertiary Institutions.
